Anadarko has begun drilling a horizontal well in the North Bayou Turner area between Dupont and Odenburg. This is the third well to go after the Austin Chalk/Eagle Ford/Tuscaloosa Marine Shale that lies deep in this area. The first two wells belong to Nelson Energy of Shreveport.
On June 6, Andarkos’s well, named Dominique 27, was a depth of 4020 feet. They began drilling about June 1.
