The LA DOTD advises that beginning Monday, January 9, 2012 and lasting several months, a curved segment of LA 105 located between the Junction of LA 1 and LA 1183 will be reconstructed and realigned. The curve reconstruction will consist of clearing and grubbing, grading, drainage structures, Class II Base Course, Lime Treatment, Superpave Asphaltic Concrete Pavement and related work.
LA 105 begins in Simmesport at its intersection with LA 1 and heads due south through Odenburg into Saint Landry Parish towards Melville, along the Atchafalaya River.
