Trace Adkins made his debut into the country music scene in 1996. Adkins has released ten albums throughout his career, two of which included greatest hits compilations, all helping him earn four Grammy nominations and five ACM and CMT awards. These albums produced more than thirty hit singles and have been charted on the Billboard country music charts. Fan-favorites and also number one hits include “This Ain’t No Thinkin’ Thing,” “Ladies Love Country Boys,” and “You’re Gonna Miss This.”
The combination of Adkin’s passion for music and somewhat rowdy flavor are a recipe for success. In 2003, Adkins was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry. In 2005, a hot new single “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk” was voted number two video of the decade by CMT. The single became a successful crossover hit and helped Adkins earn his first Top 40 Billboard Hot 100 spot. The debut of his 2011 album “Proud to Be Here” also showcased his diverse musical talents and produced hits such as “Million Dollar View,” Poor Folks,” and “That’s What You Get.” With Louisiana roots, Trace will be making a journey back home.
