COTTONPORT- Funeral Services for Rita Marcotte Bordelon will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 25, 2011 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Dupont, with Rev. George Krosfield officiating.

Burial will be St. Mary Assumption #2 Mausoleum in Cottonport. Funeral Services are under the direct of Escude Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Friday, November 25, 2011 at Immaculate Conception Church Hall, Dupont, from 9 a.n. to 1 p.m. Rosary Service will be at 12 p.m. on Friday November 25, 2011. Rita Marcotte Bordelon, age 90, of Plaucheville, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2011 at Avoyelles Manor Nursing Home.

She is preceded in death by her mother Lenore Goudeau Marcotte, father Louis Marcotte, and one sister Gladys Andress.

She is survived by her husband, Erna Antoine Bordelon, of Plaucheville; one son, Michael James Bordelon (Eva) of Plaucheville; one grand daughter, Amanda Norred (Randy) of Plaucheville, one grandson, Rushian Bordelon (Amanda Lafleur) of Carencro; one brother Dr. Lacy Marcotte of Thibodaux; three sisters Vera Wainwright (Glenn) of New Orleans, Lily Vigil (Earl) of Baton Rouge, and Theresa Lemoine of Bunkie; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
