According to Sheriff Doug Anderson, escaped Offender, SHAWN ALICK JOLIVETTE , was captured this morning in Pensacola, Fla. Jolivette was located by the U.S. Marshall Service Fugitive Task Force. He is currently being held in the Escambia County Jail pending extradition back to Louisiana on the charge of Simple Escape.

Sheriff Anderson said that on 3/27/12 deputies arrested Lakevia Denise Gardner, 21 years old of 364 E. 13th Apt. B, Laplace, La. Charging her with Principal to Simple Escape. Investigators believe that Gardner is the individual who picked Jolivette up from his Marksville City work detail and aided him in his escape. Gardner was arrested in Laplace and is currently being held in the Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s DC #1. No bond has been set.
