Lauren Claire Vincent and Nicholas Wayne Lege became husband and wife on September 27, 2008 at 7 p.m. at St. David Chapel in Gueydan. The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Parents of the bride are Shane Vincent and Grayson and Clarissa Benoit of Gueydan.
The groom’s parents are Richard and Reesa Lege of Gueydan.
Bridal attendants were Katie Savoy of Lafayette, Natalie Istre and Brittany Bertrand, both of Gueydan, and Jena Zaunbrecher of Kaplan, all cousins of the bride; Mallory and Madison Lege, both of Gueydan and Sunni Clary of Lake Arthur, all sisters of the groom. Flower girls were Emma Clary of Lake Arthur, niece of the groom and Maegan Istre of Gueydan, cousin of the bride.
The groom’s attendants were Drew Broussard and Philip Mouton of Gueydan, friends of the groom, T-Rod Istre of Gueydan, cousin of the bride, Chad Guillory of Sulphur, uncle of the groom, Sam Clary of Lake Arthur, brother-in-law of the groom, Adam Zaunbrecher and Bryson Bertrand of Gueydan, cousins of the bride, Marcus Hay of Lake Arthur, Clayton LaSalle and Joseph Charpentier, all cousins of the groom of Gueydan.
