Funeral services for Keonte LaTroy Boyd will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 9, 2010, in Second Union Baptist Church, Bunkie with Pastor Christopher Ardion officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery under the directions of Progressive Funeral Home, Bunkie,

Keonte, 18, of Bunkie passed away Saturday, January 2, 2010 at Rapides Regional Medical Center.

Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Quentracus (Troy) and Calisha Boyce Bassett; two brothers, Devonte and Lemuel Bassett; three sisters, Alexus and Quevontra Bassett all of Bunkie, Troyana Wilson of Baton Rouge; paternal grandfather, Lemuel Bassett, Jr. of Bunkie; grandmother, Debra Ann Keys Pacheo of Lakewood, California; great grandfathers, Lemuel Bassett, Sr. and Jeff D. Keys of Bunkie; maternal grandmother, Beverly Boyd and great grandmother, Gladys Boyd both of Bunkie.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the church.
