Parade entries are being sought for the annual Mardi Gras parade of the Avoyelles Rotary Club.

The parade entry fee is $10. Horses and four-wheelers are ineligible entries.

The club will hold its annual Mardi Gras Parade on Sunday, Feb. 7, at 2 p.m. Line-up for the parade participants begins at 12:30 p.m.

The parade route will start in Marksville behind the Avoyelles Parish Courthouse, proceeding to Main Street taking a left on Tunica Drive East, left on Acton Street to Preston Street, turning left on Mark Street and ending back at the courthouse.
