Visitation for Mr. Paul Dowdy Bonnette will be held Thursday, February 25, 2010 from 10:00 am un12 noon at Hixson Brothers funeral Home in Marksville. Funeral services will follow on Monday, March 1, 2010 at 10:00 am in Scarsdale, New York. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.
Mr. Bonnette, age 95, of Hessmer passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at his residence in Hessmer.
Survivors include one son Paul David Bonnette of Hessmer, one daughter, Marie Veronica Raia of South Carolina, 4 grand children and 3 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Bonnette was born in Hessmer, moved and lived in New York for 50 plus years, returned to Louisiana and passed away on the property he was born and raised on.
His life went full circle and will be dearly missed by friends and family.
