LARTO - Funeral services for Mrs. Alta P. Deville, 79, of Larto was held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 16, 2010 in the Larto Baptist Church in Larto with Revs. Mac Walker and Lloyd Trisler officiating. Interment did follow in the Nichols Cemetery in Larto under the directions of Hixson Brothers of Jena.

Mrs. Deville was born June 28, 1930 in Larto to Ben and Mattie Sanders Parker and passed from this life April 14, 2010 at her residence in Larto.

She is survived by two sons, Johnny Deville of Larto and Jerry Wiley of Mayna; one daughter, Carol Sue Melton of Larto; one sister, Marvyn Mabou of Deville; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Preston Deville; parents, Ben and Mattie Parker; brother, Lincoln Parker and sister, Vernie Wiley.

Pallbearers will be Jason Wiley, Matt McClure, Juan McClure, Jr., Timothy McQuillin, L. C. Mabou and John Deville.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jeremy Wiley, Otis Wiley, Jr., Richard Tiser I, Van Charrier, W. L. Charrier, Scott Mabou, Richie Craig and Reggie Craig.
