In an effort to reduce impaired driving in the Bunkie area, The Bunkie Police Department, the Louisiana State Police, Avoyelles Parish Sheriffs Department and the Louisiana State Wildlife and Fisheries will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint during the weekend of April 23, 2010 weather and traffic conditions permitting, in the city limits of Bunkie.
