On Wednesday, July 14, Louisiana State Police Region II/Towing and Recovery Division arrested Brent Allen Flowers (W/M 28 yrs) of Hope, AR for Filing or Maintaining False Public Record, Alteration and Forgery, and Violation of Registration Provision. Roy D. Linder (W/M 45 yrs) of Gibsland, LA was arrested today for Violating Registration Provisions.

These arrests stem from a roadside safety inspection conducted on a truck and trailer by a Towing and Recovery Trooper on March 17, 2010, in the Troop G area (Shreveport). During the inspection, it was determined the trailer’s factory VIN was removed intentionally. After further investigation, it was determined that the trailer was manufactured and purchased in Texas, sold in Louisiana, where the alterations to the trailer occurred, then titled in Arkansas and resold in Louisiana. These events occurred over several months and involved multiple individuals.

Both subjects were arrested and booked at the LaSalle Parish Jail.

Additional arrests are expected.
