A three-month investigation by state, federal and local law enforcement agencies led to the arrest of a Marksville man this Tuesday (July 20).
Hannah Desselle, facing trial next week for the murder of Kasey Bigum, pled guilty to manslaughter Thursday.
She waived her right to appeal and was sentenced to 24 years in prison.
