Avoyelles COVID numbers cross the 500-case mark

Official count from Health Department notes 512 cases and 17 deaths
There was another double-digit increase in Avoyelles Parish's coronavirus numbers, jumping by 23 to cross the 500-case mark. The overnight increase brought the parish's total from 489 to 512. Fortunately the number of COVID-related deaths remained at 17.
Statewide the parish's totals for Tuesday were 82,042 cases with 3,337 deaths.
