Avoyelles has 76 COVID cases, 8 deaths

Avoyelles Parish has now had 76 positive tests for coronavirus-19 since mid-March, with eight deaths from the disease. The new official numbers are an increase of one new case and one death from Monday's figures.

The total for the state is 32,050 cases with 2,281 deaths. There are 1,320 people hospitalized with the disease and 146 of those are on ventilators.
