Beta still on track for Avoyelles Thursday morning

Gulf storm Beta is still about 40 mile from Galveston as a tropical rainstorm with 29 mph winds. It is expected to reach the Beaumont-Lake Charles area Wednesday morning at about the same strength and pass through Avoyelles Parish with about 23 mph winds Thursday morning.
