It was another day with fewer than 100 tests and only one COVID-positive result for Avoyelles Parish when the state health department released its daily update at noon Friday.
Avoyelles Parish and other central and south Louisiana parishes are under a flash flood watch until 1 p.m. Saturday. The watch affects neighboring Evangeline, Rapides and St.
Avoyelles Parish has had a net gain of only four new COVID cases in the past two daily updates from the state health department.
The April 26 mobile vaccination site in Bunkie has been cancelled due to the J&J vaccine being pulled. The April 19 in Bunkie and April 21 in Simmesport are still good.
