MARKSVILLE - Funeral services for AudreyLee Mary Dauzat will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, June 23, 2018 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville with Reverend Eric Coone officiating. Interment will be at Cushman Cemetery in Marksville. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville from 9 a.m. until funeral service time.
Ms. Dauzat, age 70, of Marksville, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Avoyelles Hospital in Marksville. Born on March 21, 1948, AudreyLee loved fishing, her friends and family, and always enjoyed a good party.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Verdie and Willie “Coon” Dauzat of Brouillette; and two brothers, Roy and Percy Dauzat.
Those left to cherish her memory include three brothers, Jessie (Fern) Dauzat of Brouillette, Clarence (Tracy) Dauzat Sr. of Brouillette and Steve (Gayle) Dauzat of Marksville; her best friend, Suzie Marks of Hessmer; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family would like to thank All Saints Hospice for their care and compassion during this time.
