Bettie Bennett, 86, Marksville native

Bettie “Maw Maw Wheezy” was a native of Marksville and a resident of Brusly. She passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by friends and family on January 19, 2022, at age 86. She was a homemaker and the culinary queen. Louise is survived by her daughters, Denise Seymour and husband Mickey, Roxane Smith and husband Earl, Rhonda Lamana and husband Morris; brother Don Sherman and wife Sonya; sister Iris Bonanno and husband Drew; 7 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and many loved individuals. Preceded in death by her husband Hardy James Bennett, her parents; Stanley and Doris Sherman, two brothers and 1 grandson. Visiting will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd, Monday, January 24, 2022, from 8:00 am until services at 10:00 am conducted by her grandson Chip Seymour. Interment will follow Greenoaks Memorial Park, with her grandsons serving as Pallbearers.
