BORDELONVILLE - Funeral Mass for Beverly Bordelon Armand, a resident of Rexmere and native of Bordelonville, will be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Bordelonville on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 beginning at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be held in the church cemetery immediately following service. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held at St. Peter’s Church Hall beginning at 9 a.m. until time of service.
Beverly Bordelon Armand, age 90, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Riviere de Soleil Nursing Home in Mansura. Born on October 4, 1927, Mrs. Beverly was a devout Catholic, faithfully attending St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Rexmere. She was a homemaker, often enjoying farming, raising cattle and gardening and above all spending time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton Belizon “Red” and Matilda Nita “Not” Bordelon; first husband, Howard Bammer; second husband, Alvin Peter Armand; third husband, Herman Joseph “Bud” Normand; step-daughter, Juliette Boniol; sisters, Rose Ella Gaspard, Anna Mae Bordelon, and Marjorie Armand; and brothers, Noba Joseph Bordelon, Wilbert Wallace Bordelon, and Garrett James Bordelon.
Those left to cherish her memory are her stepson, Peter Armand of Cottonport; step-daughters, Marilyn Deville of Cottonport, Vivian Guttner of Brusly, Kay Normand of New York and Dorothy Pecue of Connecticut. She is also survived by numerous step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be James Gaspard, Derek Gaspard, Randall Bordelon, Ronnie Bordelon, David Bordelon.
