Carl Douglas Kimball, St. Francisville

Funeral service for Carl Douglas Kimball of St. Francisville will begin at 2:00pm on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at Latanache Baptist Church in Batchelor, LA. Burial will follow at the Latanache Baptist Cemetery.

Carl Douglas Kimball, age 72, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023, in Hammond, LA. Carl was retired from Angola Penitentiary, was currently working as a police officer for the Town of St. Francisville, and working as a night guard for West Feliciana Hospital. He was an avid pool player, playing and winning various tournaments. He would travel all over to participate in pool tournaments and sometimes just enjoyed playing with friends and family.

Those left to cherish his memory are: Andrew “Andy” Roberson of St. Francisville, who was like a son to him; sisters, Nancy Kimball (Todd Andre) of Lakeland, Shelia Smith of Morganza, and Melanie Chenevert (Brandon) of Morganza; grandson, Ethan James Roberson; goddaughter, Courtney Chenevert; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Alvin Kimball & Peggy Lou Hensley Kimball; his brother, John Dennis Kimball.

Visitation will begin at 11:00am until 2:00pm on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at Latanache Baptist Church in Batchelor.
