Carolyn Misner, 75, Hessmer

Services for Carolyn Misner will be held at Kramer of Fifth Ward on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, with President Roger LaCaze and President Neal Plauche officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until the time of service at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 14, 2022, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Carolyn Misner, 75, of Hessmer, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest “Ernie” Misner, Jr., mother, Oceana Juneau Foley; father, Lacey Braxton Foley, Sr.; and brother, Lacey Braxton Foley, Jr.
Carolyn was born on September 17, 1946. Family was the most important thing to Carolyn. She loved her husband, Ernie, dearly. She enjoyed working in the yard, tending to her flowers, and taking care of her chickens. Carolyn also enjoyed going to the beach and fishing. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Deanna Jordan (Wendall) of Hessmer; son, Corey Howell (Lori) of Hessmer, Debra Misner Vasques of Tennessee, Ronald Harper (Lisa) of Tennessee, Brandie Chiasson (Steve) of Effie; grandchildren, Callie Howell, Jace Jordan, Bryce Howell, Shea Jordan, Braxton Howell, Allison Lachney, Kenny Harper, Nikkie Cole, Micah Lavergne and multiple great-grandchildren. Carolyn is also survived by numerous family members in South Carolina and Louisiana.
Pallbearers honored to serve include Corey Howell, Bryce Howell, Braxton Howell, Wendall Jordan, and Thomas Howell.
