Charles Singley, 75, Effie

Graveside services for Charles Ray Singley will be held at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Oak Grove Cemetery, Effie with Reverend Emitte Belgard officiating.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Hixson Brothers, Pineville Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Pallbearers will be Mike Shannon, Larry Singley, Keith Shannon, Jerry Smith, Steven Singley, and Scott Hagerman.

Mr. Singley, 75, of Effie, passed from this life on Friday, October 29, 2021 at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.

Mr. Singley proudly served in the United State Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. During his working career he sold heavy equipment. Charles was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a simple man who enjoyed gardening and riding his tractor.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William C. and Lola Barnett Singley, and brothers, Jimmie Singley, and William H. Singley.

Those left to cherish his memory include his brother, Larry Singley and wife, Martha; sister, Susan Hagerman and husband, Scott, and numerous nieces and nephews.
