Curley Doucet, age 75, of Cottonport

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered for Curley Paul Doucet on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. at the Church of Resurrection in Whiteville with Fr. Donovan Labbe officiating. Burial will folow in the church cemetery under the direction of Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Melancon Funeral Home on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Mr. Doucet, age 75, of Cottonport, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, September 14, 2021. He was He was a retired commercial truck driver. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He loved to dance and to watch wrestling. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonce and Celeze Doucet and his brother, Thomas Doucet.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Doucet of Cottonport; his three daughters, Tiffany Matt of Washington, LA, Brenda Flowers of Forest Hill and Mary Doucet of Cottonport; his brother, Jessie Doucet and wife, Lova, of Port Allen and his five grandchildren, Katerra Carter, Miracle Carter, Ti"Rek Carter, Elizabeth Flower and Zoe Matt.
