Dale Christopher Barbin, 51, Marksville

Funeral Mass for Mr. Dale Christopher Barbin will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marksville with Father Jose Pallipurath officiating. Entombment will be held at Holy Ghost Cemetery in Marksville. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home on Saturday, June 5, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. until shortly before time of service. A recitation of the Holy Rosry will be held in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers at 10:00 a.m.
Dale Barbin, age 51, of Marksville was born on March 10, 1970 and died on Friday, May 21, 2021 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edwin and Maude Barbin; Louis and Helen Seiss and one brother-in-law, Shane Sampson.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 25 years, Melissa Sampson Barbin ; his step-daughter, Ashley Sampson Franklin (Cedrick); grandchildren, Starkeis Prier, Starlon Prier, Jr. and Aubree’ Franklin, C’Naiya Franklin; his parents, Berman and Yolanda Seiss Barbin; siblings, Fabian Barbin (Janis), Angelle Barbin, Arlene Barbin and Darlene Barbin; in-laws, Larry, Sr. and Inez Sampson; four brothers-in-law, Larry Sampson, Jr., Marshall Sampson, Sr., Leonard Sampson (Golda), and Shannon Sampson (Amy): two sisters-in-law, Cynthia Bridges (Lonnie, Sr.) and Denika Sampson; godchildren, Andre’ Barbin and Kameryn Barbin; and nephews and nieces.
