Daniel "Popeye" Knoll Sr., 65, Marksville native

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Daniel Paul Knoll, Sr. “Popeye” will be held on Monday, August 30, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marksville with Father Dan O’Connor officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery #2 in Marksville. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 30, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville.
Mr. Knoll, age 65, of Gonzales, formerly of Marksville entered eternal rest on Monday, August 23, 2021 at Ochsner Medical Center in Baton Rouge.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Sam Knoll and brother, Kenneth Knoll.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Brenda Griffin Knoll of Gonzales; his son, Daniel P. Knoll, Jr. (Tabatha) of Denham Springs; Leslie Daigle (Derek) of Gonzales, Daniele M. Knoll of Baton Rouge; mother, Ellene Harris Knoll of Marksville; brother, Michael Knoll of Slidell; sister, Priscilla Knoll of Marksville, 6 grandchildren, Clint Arnaudville, Jr, Christian Arnaudville, Logan Daigle, Paislie Daigle, Paityn Knoll, Saylor Knoll; 1 great grandchild, Kollun Arnaudville.
Pallbearers honored to serve are Logan Daigle, Michael Knoll, Jr., David Desota, Billy Griffin, Robert Charrier, Daniele Knoll, Derek Daigle, and Lester Duplessis.
