Funeral services were held for Forestine “Tena” Lemoine Gaspard on Sunday December 17, 2017 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville with Deacon Gary Schupbach officiating. Entombment followed in St. Joseph Cemetery #2. Arrangements were under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.
Mrs. Gaspard, age 90, of Alexandria passed away at Baton Rouge General Hospital in Baton Rouge on Wednesday, December 13, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elster J. Gaspard; parents Forest and Bonita Normand Lemoine; brother, Marvin Lemoine; and sister, Rita Burch. 
      She is survived by her sister, Judy Varuso of Metairie; grandchildren, Lisa (Dennis) Spillman of Central, Carrie (Jeremy) Starns of Denham Springs, Adam (Heather) Gaspard of Denham Springs; and great-grandchildren, Reagan, Jeremy, Blaine, Avery and Mason.
