Frederick D. Henigin, 71, West Virginia

Frederick D. Henigin, 71, of Shinnston, WV, and formerly of Point Marion, PA, died Friday, October 15, 2021, in the United Hospital Center, Bridgeport, WV, after a brief illness.

Fred had worked in area coal mines, retiring after 40 years.

Surviving are his three children and their spouses: Kimberly Ingegneri and Joe of Bridgeton, NJ, Lisa Miller and Stan of Smithfield PA, and Fred Henigin, Jr. and Kimmy of Marksville, LA; eight grandchildren,; two brothers; one sister; and his girlfriend of over 20 years, Patty Bell of Shinnston, and her family, Brenda, Heather and Kristen.

The family will receive friends in the Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, Point Marion, Pa., (724-725-5245) on Tuesday, October 19th , from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service hour.

Interment follows in Cedar Grove Cemetery, New Geneva.
