Geraldine "Jerry" Campbell, 88, Pollock

Campbell Cemetery, Center Point, Louisiana, is where Geraldine "Jerry" Campbell will be laid to rest next to her late husband Ireland Marion Campbell. Visitation will be held at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Pineville, on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at 9:00-11:00 AM with the funeral to follow at 11:00. Masks and social distancing will be required.

Pallbearers will be Charlie Moore, Mark Townsend, Stephan Townsend, Daniel Luther, Mac McMillan, and Randy Smith.

Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Townsend, Rick Soileau, and Travis Luther.

Mrs. Campbell, 88, of Pollock, LA, formerly of Ruby, LA, peacefully entered eternal rest at her home on Friday, September 3, 2021, with family members by her side. During her years of raising three daughters, she worked as a secretary at the Clerk of Court office in Alexandria, First Baptist Church of Pineville, LA, and Pineville Monument Works. Her last work experience outside of her home was for her son-in-law in his business, the "Legal News". She will be forever remembered for her love for her family and the care with which she nurtured them.

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil E. Wiley (Louise) and Bera McCann Wiley, her sister Yvonne "Bonnie" Montz, and her brother E. Cecil Wiley.

She is survived by three daughters, Donna Townsend (Billy), Patricia Soileau (Rick), and Paula Luther (Travis). Her five grandchildren of whom she was very proud are Mark Townsend (Esther), Stephen Townsend (Molly), Mallary Soileau
(friend Randy), Daniel Luther (Lindsay), and Samantha McMillan (Mac). Her eight great grandchildren who she adored are Hadassah, Liam, Emily Ellen, River, Jude, Catharine, Libby, and Allie. She is also survived by one sister-in-law, Tai Mei
Wiley, and several nieces and nephews.

She was a member of the Sarah Grace Sunday School Class at Kingsville Baptist
Church in Ball, LA, and memorial gifts may be made to the Kingsville Baptist Church Sarah Thompson Mission Fund.
