Hazel Theresa Mayeux age 90 of Mansura

Funeral Mass for Hazel Theresa Mayeux of Mansura will take place at the St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church of Mansura on Monday, February 18th, 2019 beginning at 1:00pm with Fr. Irion St. Romain officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 17th, 2019 at the Escude Funeral Home of Mansura from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. that evening. Visitation will resume the next morning at the funeral home at 9:00 a.m. Burial will commence at the St. Paul Catholic Mausoleum. Escude Funeral Home of Mansura, 6608 Porterie St. Mansura, LA 71350 (318-964-2324) has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.

Mrs. Mayeux, age 90, passed away at the Avoyelles Hospital of Marksville on Thursday, February 14th, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Eddie Mayeux, Sr.; parents, Anatole & Matilda Lemoine; brothers, Clarence Lemoine, Sr. and Earl Lemoine; and grandchild, Jay Mayeux. She is survived by her children, Eddie Mayeux, Jr. (Rose Anne St. Romain) of Mansura, Donna Mayeux Mulhearn (Larkin) of West Monroe, Thomas Mayeux (Sandra) of Mansura, Catherine Ducote (Clyde) of Hessmer, Kenneth Mayeux of Mansura, Monica Mayeux (Mike Huval) of Breaux Bridge. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Wesley Mayeux, Trent Mayeux, and Madeline Bonnette; and a great-grandchild, Alexander James Mayeux.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Eddie Mayeux, Jr., Thomas Mayeux, Kenneth Mayeux, Wesley Mayeux, Trent Mayeux, & Clyde Ducote. Serving as cross bearer will be Madeline Bonnette.
