Helen Wall Ducote, age 80, of Lone Pin

Funeral services for Helen Wall Ducote will be Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Melancon Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Tingle officiating. Burial will follow in the Griffin Hill Cemetery under the direction of Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Melancon Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 from 5 PM - 8 PM and resume on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 from 8 AM - 10:45 AM.

Helen Wall Ducote, age 80, of Lone Pine, passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Ducote and her parents, Branch and Ruth Slocum Wall.

She is survived by her brother, Branch Griffith Wall, Jr. (Rose) of Carencro; her two sisters, Marilyn Lutz of Marksville and Brenda Miller and husband, Lionel, of Lone Pine; a niece that she considered a daughter, Kerri De Selle and husband, Dale and their two children that she considered her grandchildren, Olivia and Emily of Lone Pine; a friend that was like a daughter to her, Brenda Blood of Lone Pine and numerous nieces and nephews
