MANDEVILLE - A Funeral Mass for Jacqueline Micott Laborde will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 312 Lafitte St, Mandeville, LA 70448 on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow the service in Mandeville Mausoleum in Mandeville.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday beginning at 10 a.m.
Jacqueline Micott Laborde, age 84, of Mandeville passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 28, 1933 in Shreveport to Sam Miciotto and Ledius Juneau. She worked for many years as a medical office manager in Avoyelles Parish. Upon she and her husband’s retirement, they relocated to Mandeville to be closer to their children and grandchildren.
Jackie is preceded in death by parents and step-father, Hebert Bordelon; and brother Sam Miciotto, Jr.
Jackie is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Wilfred Joseph Laborde; her daughters, Vickie (Rene) Goux and Susan (David) Aymond; nine grandchildren, Jason (Lori) Goux, Tiffany Goux, Leslie (Jason) Aymond, Jenny (Jimmy) Picone, Heather (Roger) Aymond, Sloane (Matt) Ory, Jon (Kristine) Goux, Josh (Morgan) Aymond and Tyler Aymond; ten great-grandchildren, Alexis Broussard, Kalli Hatchett, Brody Hatchett, Renny Goux, Abby Picone, Anabelle Ory, Josh Picone, Adleigh Ory, Ellie Watson, and Audrey Aymond; and siblings Warren (Liz) Bordelon, Janis (Jim) Kimball, Ronald Jasin, and Michael Miciotto.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mrs. Laborde to be made to Shriner’s Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Dr. Tampa, FL 33607.
