Louise Couvillion Jeansonne , age 66, of Marksville

Memorial services for Mrs. Louise Couvillion Jeansonne will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marksville. Entombment will be at St. Joseph Mausoleum #2 in Marksville. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.
Louise Couvillion Jeansonne , age 66, of Marksville, passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Heart Hospital of Lafayette. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Addie Lemoine Couvillion, and her husband of 47 years, Ronnie Jeansonne.
She was no stranger to residents of Marksville as she retired as a clerk having been employed by Marksville City Police and Marksville City Hall. Louise was a devoted and loving caretaker to her husband Ronnie for many years. She always supported him and was by his side. “Weezie”, as she was lovingly referred to by many who knew her was a doting grandmother and cherished and adored her grandchildren.
Those left to cherish her memory include her two daughters, Hope Gagnard (Craig) of Marksville, Jamie Jeansonne (Martin) of Broussard; one brother, Lee Couvillion, Jr. (Joanie) of Cottonport; one sister, Shearldine Bordelon of Moreauville; four grandchildren, Luke Gagnard, Lindsey E. Gagnard, Lawson Gagnard, and Logan Jeansonne.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville from 8:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
