Mrs. Fruge was a life-long homemaker who raised her children alone after losing her husband early in their marriage. A devout French-speaking Catholic who embodied the best of the "Cajun" culture she grew up in; she loved to drink coffee with friends, never knew a stranger and prayed the rosary for anyone in need. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and family historian; Mrs. Fruge knew anything about her family and was always a phone call away.
Guidry Funeral Home, 219 N. Broadway St., Church Point, LA is in charge of final arrangements.
