Funeral services for Mr. Major Richard Gaspard will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers with Fr. Dan O’Connor officiating. Interment will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery #3 in Fifth Ward, LA. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Marksville.
Mr. Major Gaspard,67, of Marksville, LA. passed from this life on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Ok.
Mr. Gaspard is preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Marie Gaspard; parents, Clebert and Mary Zelphra Jeansonne Gaspard; brother, Joseph Gaspard.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Delores Ferguson Gaspard of 52 years; daughter, Kathy Gaspard (Justin Humphries) of Bunkie, four grandchildren, Justin Gaspard, Natalie Gaspard, Nicholas Gaspard, and Angelina Bordelon.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be Justin Gaspard, Justin Humphries, Kathy Gaspard, Jack Dauzat, Nicholas Gaspard, Angelina Bordelon, Natalie Gaspard, and Ryan Ducote.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral service in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers.
