MARKSVILLE - Funeral services for Mr. Mickey Muriel Benavidez, Sr. will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 30, 2018 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville with Pastor Mark Crawford officiating. Interment will be at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 30, 2018 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.
Mr. Benavidez, age 64, of Marksville, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2018 in Moreauville. He was born on May 26, 1953.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rodney G. Benavidez and Earline St. Romain Benavidez; and two brothers, Rodney Benavidez and Robert Benavidez.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Mickey Benavidez, Jr. of Bunkie; two daughters, April (Timmy) Ducote of Bunkie, Nyja Benavidez of Marksville; one sister, Anita Cortez of Marksville; nine grandchildren, Jared, Layden, Keonna, Shamira, Jayce, Amya, Lamar, Damon and Harper.
