Pressly Guilbeau, 69, Fifth Ward

Memorial services for Mr. Pressley Charles Guilbeau will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 20th, 2021 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home with Fr. Dan O’Connor officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville, LA.
Mr. Guilbeau, 69, of Fifth Ward, LA., passed from this life on Monday, November 15th, 2021 at his residence.
Mr. Pressley worked for the Department of Corrections for 40 years. He was a kind, humble, and patient man who deeply loved his family. His passion he loved doing was working in the hay fields and his early years, he loved rabbit hunting.
Mr. Guilbeau is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Percy and Mary Jane Guilbeau Lacombe.
Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 21 years, Nina Guilbeau of Fifth Ward; sons, Bronson Guilbeau (Tammy) of Flowery Branch, GA., Brandon Guilbeau (Kellie) of Plaucheville, LA.; daughter, Brandi Swann (William) of LaMarque, TX.; step sons, Gary Carrier (Dodi) of Cottonport, LA., Adam Carrier of Ponca City, OK.; brothers, Elliot Guilbeau (Laura) of Marksville, LA., Scott Guilbeau (Sybil) of Hessmer, LA.; sister, Annette James (Jules) of Fifth Ward, LA.; mother in law, Vivian Ducote; and his grandchildren, Kennedy Guilbeau, Rylan Guilbeau, Marli Guilbeau, Charles Guilbeau, Bridgette Swann, Kayla Normand, Madison Carrier, Maxwell McKey, Callie Carrier, and Mazie Carrier.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 20th, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville, LA.
