Robert LaCour, Sr. , age 66, of Marksville

Robert LaCour, Sr. 
  FIFTH WARD - A Mass of Christian Burial for Robert LaCour will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 25, 2018, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Rev. Kurian Zachariah officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery #2, Marksville, under the direction of Kramer of Fifth Ward. 
  Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2018, and resume from 8 a.m. until time of service on Sunday, March 25, 2018, at the funeral home. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at the funeral home. 
  Robert LaCour, Sr., 66, of Marksville, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018, at his residence. Robert was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, brother, and friend to everyone. He was known for his jokes and teasing people. Robert loved his grandchildren dearly and was often calling to check on them. He was known as the “Tomato Man” and people came from all around to get produce and eggs from him. Robert was never without his “little friend” Oscar, his dog. Oscar was always with Robert when he drove somewhere. Robert will truly be missed by all his family and friends.
Robert is preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Rebecca LaCour; his parents, Ferdinand and Ann LaCour; and one sister, Cecelia Kimble.  
Those left to cherish his memory include his three children, Robin (William) Williber of Fifth Ward, Robert (Shelley) LaCour, Jr. of Mansura, and Rhett (Danielle) LaCour of Belledeau; seven grandchildren, Haydn Williber, Ava Williber, Emma LaCour, Hunter LaCour, Carson LaCour, Damien LaCour, and Rylan LaCour; one sister, Katherine Bordelon; and two brothers, Ferdinand LaCour and Anthony (Anna) LaCour. 
  Pallbearers honored to serve will be Robert LaCour, Jr., RhettLaCour, William Williber, Haydn Williber, Anthony LaCour, and Ferdinand LaCour, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Hunter LaCour, Damien LaCour, Rylan LaCour, Carson LaCour, Emma LaCour, and Ava Willibur.
