BUNKIE - A Celebration of Life for Roy Weston was held at St. Paul Baptist Church in Bunkie on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 1 p.m. with Rev. John Culbert officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie.
Mr. Weston, age 58 of Alexandria, was born in Lafayette on July 6, 1960 and passed away on Friday July 6, 2018 at Rapides Regional Medical Center. He was the eighth child of the late Mervis Mullen and Raymond Weston, Sr. One of Roy's qualities was you could always count on was that smile of his. Whenever he greeted you, you could be sure it was with that smile. He was a gentle soul.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mervis Mullen and Raymond Weston, Sr.; oldest sister, Vergie Mae Jones.
Those left to cherish his memories are his brothers, Jimmie Mullen, John Mullen, Albert (Mona) Weston, Raymond Weston, Jr., Arthur Weston and Michael Weston; his sisters, Terry Smith, Jerry (Percy) Daniel and Rosia Stevenson; his loving aunt, Izetta Baker; his uncle, Walter Rideaux; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
