Vincent Guillory, 73, Bunkie

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered for Vincent Ray Guillory, Sr. on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Rev. Stephen Scott Chemino officiating. Burial will be in the Pythian Cemetery under the direction of Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie.
The family requests that visitation be observed at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. - 1:50 p.m.
Mr. Guillory, age 73, of Bunkie, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at his residence. Vincent was a graduate of Bunkie High School and was employed by Bunkie Coca Cola for twenty-five years. He also was employed by Kojis Sign Company and Rapides Parish School Board. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with our family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elwood and Corrine Fontenot Guillory and his brother, Terry Guillory.
He is survived by his wife of thirty-two years, Cheryl Normand Guillory of Bunkie; his three daughters, Karen Guillot and friend, Thomas Hutson, of Hessmer, Chris Cox and husband, Victor, of Cheneyville and Ann Soileau of Chicot; his two sons, Anthony Ducote and wife, Melissa, of Baton Rouge and Vincent Guillory, Jr. of Atlanta, GA; his brother, Elwood Guillory, Jr. and wife, Mary Ann, of Cottonport; his four sisters, Rita Vidrine and husband, Shelton, of Lone Pine, Janice Basco and husband, Tommy, of Lone Pine, Cynthia Gaspard, and husband, Danny, of Baker and Lisa Guillory of Bunkie; his six grandchildren, Ethan Guillot, Luke Guillot, Josh Cox, Carlie Cox Ekermeyer, Maggie Ducote and Jack Guillory and his five great grandchildren, Rylee Laborde, Addie Cox, Nolan Cox, Harlie Guillot and Hallie Cox.
Honored to serve as Honorary Pallbearers are Anthony Ducote, Josh Cox, Ethan Guillot, Luke Guillot, Austin Ekermeyer and Nolan Cox.
A special thank you to Carl and Gail Boudreaux for the kindness they have shown during this time of need. Also, Compassionate Care Hospice and their employees, Vickie, Brenda, Allison, Kyla, Anna, Monica, Sherri, Erica and Shellie for the past year and a half of care.
