This week's high school basketball playoff action for Avoyelles Parish teams:
GIRLS
Avoyelles Public Charter Lady Vikings host Lake Arthur at 6 p.m. Thursday in the quarterfinals of Class 2A
St. Joseph Lady Eagles take on Claiborne Christian Academy at 8 p.m. Thursday in the Division V championship game in the Alario Center in Westwego.
BOYS
Marksville Tigers travel to Booker T. Washington-N.O. on Friday in Round 1 of the Class 3A playoffs.
Avoyelles Public Charter Vikings host West St. Mary on Friday in Round 1 of the Class 2A playoffs.
Avoyelles Mustangs host East Feliciana at 6:30 p.m. Friday in Round 1 of the Class 2A playoffs.
St. Joseph Eagles host Northside Christian at 6:30 p.m. Friday in the quarterfinals of the Division V playoffs.
