Roger Dale Mathews, 76, Vick

Funeral services celebrating the life of Mr. Roger Dale Mathews will be held on Friday, April 19th, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville with Reverend Dobie Perkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Vick Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville.

Mr. Mathews, age 76, of Vick passed away on Saturday, April 13th, 2024 at his residence. He is preceded in death by his parents, Elashey and Lou Ella Cole Mathews.

Those left cherish his memory are his wife, Eunice Clark Mathews of Vick, LA; sons, Bradley Dale Mathews and Eric Lynn Mathews, both of Vick, LA; brother, Paul Glenn Mathews (Carmela) of Alexandria, LA. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Clark Mathews, Cody Mathews, Sarah Mathews and Selene Mathews; great grandchildren, Coltyn Matthews and Rosalie Leqoc.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Clark Matthews, Cody Matthews, Alan Williams, Tommy Dunn, Wendell Wiley, and Robert John Cole.

The family requests visitation to be held on Thursday, April 18th, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville. Visitation will reopen the following day at 8:00 a.m. until time of service at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville.
