Theresa Tassin Clark, 86, Marksville

Funeral services for Mrs. Theresa Tassin Clark will be held on Saturday, January 6th, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville with Father Dan O’Connor officiating. Interment will be held in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery #2 under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville.

Mrs. Clark, age 86, passed away on Monday, January 1st, 2024 in Marksville. “Mamie” loved living life to the fullest, and enjoyed the simple things. Whether it was playing pokeno, enjoying an ice-cold Corona, watching scary movies, or cooking her famous spaghetti for her family. She never missed the opportunity try new things and celebrate every second that God gave her. She had a heart for people, and lived to serve and care for others. Her pranks, along with her infectious smile, will always be remembered by those who knew her the best.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Wickliffe and Beulah Mae Gaspard Tassin; the love of her life, Gerald Clyde Hingle, Sr.; sons, Dale Moore, Sr., and Joey Tassin; brothers, Landry Joseph Kelone, and Robert Tassin; sisters, Beulah Mae Brouillette, and Lizzie St. Romain.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Gerald “Jerry” Hingle, Jr. of Marksville; daughter, Vicki Trevino (Jose, Sr.) of Marksville; grandchildren, Adrian Dauzat, Joey Moore, Dale Moore, Jr., Tori Trevino, Natasha Trevino, and Jose Trevino, Jr. ; great grandchildren, Gabrielle Bernard, Brittany Hingle, Hannah Lewis, Justin Laborde, Manuel Bernard, Ariyanna Paul, Dylan Bordelon, Ethan Bordelon, Dominick Prestridge, Madeline Prestridge, Destiny Dauzat, Drake Dauzat, and Makenna Dauzat; great great grandchildren, Gracie Rabalais, Wyatt Bernard, Jaxyn Hingle, Hunter Brouillette, Giavonni Lewis, and Nikoli Laborde.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 5th, 2024 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Marksville. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 6:30 p.m.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Jose Trevino, Sr. Joey Moore, Dylan Dauzat, Bryan Bernard, Brittany Hingle, and Hannah Lewis.
