2026-2027 ACE Scholarships Now Open for Applications!

The application window for ACE Scholarships for Louisiana for the 2026–2027 school year opened Monday, Feb. 2, and will remain open through Wednesday, April 15, offering tuition assistance opportunities for eligible Louisiana families.

ACE Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, and families are encouraged to apply as early as possible. Applications are submitted online through the ACE Scholarships portal or via a designated FACTS application link available on the official ACE Scholarships website.

Eligibility is based on Louisiana residency and family income, which must meet ACE’s annually updated guidelines. To qualify as a new applicant for the 2026–2027 school year, a student must meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Attendance at a Louisiana public school during the 2025–2026 school year
  • Participation in the Louisiana Scholarship Program or Tuition Donation Credit Program during that year
  • Enrollment in kindergarten for the first time in 2026–2027

ACE Scholarships provide partial tuition assistance for lower-income families. Students in grades 9–12 may receive awards averaging approximately $4,500 per school year, or full tuition if the school’s tuition is less. For students in grades K–8, awards are typically around $4,200 per year.

Families may also consider applying for the new Louisiana Giving All True Opportunity to Rise (LA GATOR) program, a state-funded education savings account (ESA) initiative. The LA GATOR program may be used alongside an ACE Scholarship under the Tuition Donation Credit Program. Applications for LA GATOR for the 2026–2027 school year are expected to open in early spring 2026.

To qualify for ACE Scholarships, families must be Louisiana residents, meet income requirements, and have a child who attended a Louisiana public school during the 2024–2025 school year, participated in the Louisiana Scholarship Program or Tuition Donation Credit Program during that year, or will attend kindergarten for the first time in the 2025–2026 school year. Additional information, eligibility details, and application links are available through the ACE Scholarships website.
