60th annual Sacred Heart School Fall Fair set Oct. 18-19

šŸŽ” Sacred Heart School to Celebrate 60th Fall Fair ā€“ October 18ā€“19

Sacred Heart School in Moreauville will celebrate its 60th Fall Fair on Saturday, Oct. 18, and Sunday, Oct. 19.
All booths will open after Mass on both days from 5 to 10 p.m.

Bingo, a silent auction, games, cakes, food, candied apples, soft drinks, face painting, rock monster, inflatables, a split the pot, music by the Cajun Outlaw band, and a country store will all be enjoyed during the weekend.

šŸŽ½ Saturday Fun

A 5K Run / 1-Mile Fun Color Run will be held.
Registration will be from 7 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.
Cost: $25 per entry.

A Poker Run will begin at 12:15 p.m.
Cost: $30 per bike.
First bike out will be at 1 p.m.

Motorcycles, antique cars, and jeeps are all welcome.

Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 4 p.m., followed by the opening of the festivities at 5 p.m.
Catfish dinners will be sold for $12 per plate.

In celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Sacred Heart School Fair and 125 years of academic excellence of Sacred Heart School, a fireworks show will be displayed on the banks of Bayou des Glaises immediately after bingo on Saturday night.

šŸ– Sunday ā€“ Cochon de Lait Dinners

On Sunday, Oct. 19, Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m.
Cochon de lait and BBQ chicken dinners will be sold, with serving from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Cost: $15 per plate.

The online silent auction will close at 12 noon.

The Grand Raffle prize winners will be announced on Sunday at 3 p.m.
Tickets: $2 per raffle ticket.

Prizes include:

  • 500 lb. butcher calf
  • $500 cash
  • Two LSU vs. Western Kentucky tickets (Nov. 22 game)
  • $300 cash
  • ASUS Chromebook (donated by DETEL Computer Solutions)
  • $250 cash
  • $150 cash
  • Religious concrete statue
