🍲 Annual Gumbo Cookoff at St. Alphonsus Church 🎉

The St. Alphonsus Catholic Church Knights of Columbus Council 3088 will host its annual Gumbo Cookoff on Saturday, Jan. 17, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Rateau Center in Hessmer.

The event is open to the public and promises an evening of good food, fellowship and community fun.

• There is no team entry fee for those wishing to participate in the cookoff
• Registration forms are available at Shawn’s in Hessmer.

Admission is a $10 donation for all-you-can-eat gumbo for those dining in, and takeout containers will be provided for carryout orders.

Guests are encouraged to come early, enjoy a variety of gumbo recipes, and stay afterward for Bingo, which will follow the meal.

Tickets may be purchased from any Knights of Columbus member or through the church office at 3659 Main Street in Hessmer.
