Avoyelles Charter’s Viking Theatre to Present “Our Town Under the Stars”

The Avoyelles Public Charter School’s Viking Theatre is inviting the community to step into Grover’s Corners for a magical evening of live theatre beneath the stars.
For the first time in school history, the student cast will perform Thornton Wilder’s timeless classic Our Town outdoors, October 23–24 at sunset (6:30 p.m.).
The outdoor stage, set in front of the school’s Performing Arts Center, will serve as the backdrop for this heartfelt story about small-town life, love, and the passage of time. Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy the show in a relaxed open-air setting.
“This production will offer something truly special,” said Viking Theatre organizers. “Our students have worked hard to bring this story to life, and performing it outdoors adds an extra layer of intimacy and beauty.”
Tickets will be available soon through the school’s GoFan link on the Avoyelles Public Charter website.
