Avoyelles Parish Teams Shine in Week of Oct. 10 Football Action

Avoyelles Parish football delivered another exciting Friday night under the lights on October 10, with standout performances across the board and plenty of momentum heading into next week’s matchups.

The Avoyelles Mustangs powered their way past Port Barre with a decisive 36–14 victory.

Over in Marksville, the Tigers battled hard but fell short in a high-scoring shootout against Jena, 46–62.

Meanwhile, the Bunkie Panthers dominated on both sides of the ball, rolling over Caldwell Parish with a 42–6 victory.
