Avoyelles has another one-case day Thursday

Avoyelles Parish's COVID count increased by only one new case Thursday. There were no reinfections and no additional deaths.

As of Thursday, the parish's 24-month totals were 11,568 cases involving 10,771 individuals, of whom 797 were infected twice during the pandemic and 206 died from COVID-related complications.
