Only one COVID case in Avoyelles' mid-week report

Avoyelles had only one new case of COVID in the parish in the daily report released Wednesday. As of Wednesday, the parish's pandemic total since March 2020 was 11,559 total cases affecting 10,762 individuals with 797 reinfections and 201 deaths.
In the period from Wednesday, March 2, to today (March 9), there had been 11 new cases of COVID in Avoyelles Parish -- nine first-time infections and two reinfectionsn -- and one additional COVID-releated death. There were 1,044 COVID tests reviewed during that period.
